Deloitte Announces Winners of Thailand’s Best Managed Companies 2024
Deloitte has announced the companies awarded the Thailand’s Best Managed Companies for the year 2024. This award has been held continuously for the fourth year, and in 2024, a total of 19 companies received the award, representing leading private companies in Thailand that have excelled in management and contributed to driving the industry and the country's economy.
This year, 4 companies achieved Gold Standard status for the first time by receiving the Thailand’s Best Managed Companies award for four consecutive years, reflecting excellence in continuous management. These 4 companies are among the first in Southeast Asia to receive Gold Standard status, marking not only a milestone of success but also an opportunity to exchange knowledge, best practices, and network with other business leaders to drive learning and industry growth.

Additionally, there is one company that received the award for the first time, and 14 companies that maintained their status as successful management companies for the second and third consecutive years, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining standards and continuous organizational development.
The awarded companies of Thailand’s Best Managed Companies underwent a rigorous selection process conducted independently by a panel of qualified multidisciplinary experts. Their qualifications were assessed based on four criteria: strategy, capability and innovation, organizational culture and commitment, as well as governance and financial management, which are internationally recognized evaluation standards developed from over 30 years of research and analysis of leading companies worldwide by Deloitte.

“I am honored to congratulate the 19 companies awarded Thailand’s Best Managed Companies this year. The dedication to excellence, innovation, and positive impact of each company is commendable and serves as an inspiration for other businesses. Special congratulations to the 4 companies that achieved Gold Standard status, a remarkable success, and congratulations to the 14 companies that have received awards for the second and third consecutive years, as well as the company awarded for the first time this year. Continuous success reflects a commitment to driving growth and creating positive impacts, as well as the ability to adapt and thrive in today’s challenging and changing business environment, which is a key factor leading these companies to success,” said Suphasak Krisnamara, Managing Director of Deloitte Thailand.
Kamolwan Choonhakisak, Thailand Best Managed Companies Leader at Deloitte Thailand, added:
“Deloitte congratulates the awarded companies this year. Over the past four years, we have witnessed success in management, driving sustainable business growth, and creating value for society. Each company demonstrates resilience and sustainable growth amid a volatile economic environment. The Best Managed Companies program operates globally, aiming to promote and recognize companies with excellent management worldwide and to create a network of Best Managed Companies with over 1,300 leading companies globally. This year, we have rebranded to reflect continuous growth, a global network, and the power of collaboration.”

Chua Haw Kiat, Best Managed Companies Leader at Deloitte Southeast Asia, stated, “The awarded Best Managed Companies excel in all aspects, including innovation, creating value for business and society, industry leadership, commitment to sustainability, employee engagement, and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Observing the continuous growth of award recipients over the years clearly shows the elevation of success standards for private businesses in this region.”
The awarded companies will be invited to participate in the Southeast Asia Entrepreneur Summit 2024 in Jakarta, Indonesia, on November 5, 2024, to celebrate their success as recognized companies in the market and to meet and network with award recipients from other Southeast Asian countries.
The awarded companies in Thailand will also join a global network of over 1,300 well-managed companies from 46 countries in the Asia Pacific, Americas, Europe, and the Middle East, with plans to launch in Africa soon.
The application process for Thailand’s Best Managed Companies allows participating companies to comprehensively assess their business with guidance from Deloitte experts. This assessment covers performance, operational management efficiency, and strategic goals. This year, the independent judging panel consisted of Darusak Visutthasin, Assistant Secretary of the Thai Bankers Association, Thandech Kulapitiwan, Executive Editor of BrandAge magazine, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pawitra Jindaara, Faculty of Marketing and Data Analytics at the Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration, Chulalongkorn University.
The Best Managed Companies award is organized by Deloitte Private, a service of Deloitte that focuses specifically on private companies.
Note: Some winners are publicly listed companies. The term 'private company' here refers to companies where the majority of shares are still privately owned, either directly or indirectly, according to the qualification screening criteria for companies participating in Deloitte's Best Managed Companies program.
